On June 7th Dr Diahanne Rhiney BCAe hosted and chaired a group of pioneering young panellists in a high-impact debate at The House of Commons. ‘21 Questions: Youth Violence, Trauma and Hope’ was created as an emergency response to the knife crisis in the Capital from the people at the forefront of the frontline. Diahanne chaired the Question Time styled debate with a panel comprised of Kenny Imafidon, Temi Mwale, Jamala Osman and Craig Pinkney. The aim of the debate was to hear first-hand from young people how to best tackle the root causes of serious youth violence and with the help of a live audience of young people, key organisations, bereaved families, police and practitioners, the event was more than ‘just a talking shop’.
